Device time changes

Time Q Plus - TQ600 device time changes

Okay, so you are the owner of a TQ600 clock from Acroprint. You use TimeQPlus software along with the clock. However, your clock time changes for no apparent reason...Well I will tell you that there is a valid reason why the clock time changes.

The clock time is exactly the same time as the computer onto which timeQ is installed as the server!

Okay, before we continue ... TimeQ server does not mean the Company's server..It means the computer onto which TimeQ was is installed as a server and onto which the TimeQ data files are located.

Okay, how to correct this:

You need to correct it from the TimeQ server:

Log in as an administrator on your computer.
Change the time zone to your correct time zone.

Now you might say, these time zones tells a different time from what we hear on the radio or what our clock actually says. This is simple too...
Log into your pc.
Right click on My Computer
Click Manage
Go to services
Located the "Windows Time" service
Disable it.

This will ensure that your time is whatever it you set remains without changing regardless of what time zone you have.


Once you are happy with the time:
Log into timeQ
go to Time clocks
Click on your clock(s)
Click Update Status
